Fall Fun for Families: What to do in Lake Geneva, WI This Autumn

Apple Picking, Haunted Hayrides, a NEW Haunted Barn and more

Lake Geneva’s family-friendly Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark is ready for the new season with classic, traditional fall fun.

Families can enjoy classic fall favorites while staying at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark.

For starters, there’s an indoor waterpark plus all-suite accommodations for a home-away-from home experience. Second, what’s fall and the Halloween season without spooky tricks and sweet treats?

Families can book the resort’s Amaze N Apple Package and splash part of the day away in the waterpark and then venture to Royal Oak Farm to enjoy an apple tree maze. Experience the only orchard in the country with an apple tree maze! Package includes:

  • Overnight accommodations in a suite
  • 4 waterpark passes (6 passes for a two-bedroom suite)
  • 4 passes to Royal Oak Farm Amaze N Apples apple tree maze (includes entry to the maze and picking of two apples), 6 passes for a two-bedroom suite

Royal Oak Farm is the only orchard in the country with an apple tree maze where you can explore 1.5 miles of trails with nine varieties of apples. They also feature U-pick apples, pumpkins, fresh apple cider donuts, as well as an entertainment area for the whole family with train rides, carousel rides and a playground. Royal Oak Farm is located in Harvard, IL just 20 minutes from the resort. Additional fees apply for other activities at the orchard.

For those in search of spookier fun this fall, the resort’s on-site Dan Patch Stables is gearing up for a wicked good time with its Haunted Hayride and an all NEW Haunted Hay Barn experience every Friday & Saturday October 2 through October 31, beginning at 6pm. Hayrides are $15 for adults, $10 for children 4-10, kids under 3 are free. The Haunted Haybarn is $10 per person, kids 5 and under are free. Both experiences are cash only.

Guests of Timber Ridge may also take advantage of The Adventure Center at Grand Geneva and enjoy activities such as hiking, biking, and archery (weekends only).
